This tool is one of the Map Controls on the map ribbon.
Function
The Change Map Display tool is used to view STIP projects on the map.
Setup
The Change Map Display pop-up is composed of project radio buttons, related picklists and textboxes, a checkbox, and a button control. These items allow the user to perform map queries based on specific filters. Each of these filters are described in the table below.

| All Radio Button | Display all projects with a valid location on the map. |
| Municipality Radio Button/Picklist | Choose a municipality in the state (including Statewide) to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| Program Radio Button/Picklist | Choose a program (defined in the Program Targets interface) to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| STIP ID Radio Button/Textbox | Enter a STIP ID in whole or in part to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| Name Radio Button/Textbox | Enter a Project Name in whole or in part to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| Description Radio Button/Textbox | Enter a Project Description in whole or in part to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| Asset Name Radio Button/Textbox | Enter an Asset Name in whole or in part to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| STIP Year Radio Button/Textbox | Enter a year in YYYY format to narrow the projects displayed on the map. |
| "Save for initial display" Checkbox | Save the selection and display the current set of projects each time the application is opened in the future. |
| Refresh Map Button | Dismiss the Change Map Display interface and add the selected projects to the map. |
The radio button selection will be set to "None" by default, showing the entire map zoomed out to the Statewide level with no projects. Once the user has selected a map filter and entered the specified information in the second field, they can select the Refresh Map button. This button will dismiss the Change Map Display interface and add the relevant projects to the map.
