While the user can see the "Detail" tab title upon opening Projects, the user will not be able to enter this tab until a STIP ID is selected on the Project Table on the Project tab. Upon selection of the desired project, the user will be toggled to the Detail tab which can be used to view and edit detailed information about the project. This interface contains general, asset, and funding information for the project selected.
If the project originated from the Project Bundler application, the project and asset details will be view-only, but the funding information will be editable. If the project is created through STIP Manager, all information will be editable; however, no asset level details are kept for these projects since they are typically only administrative line items.

Funding Information
There are six Funding information fields in the Detail tab. All information in this table originates from the STIP Manager application regardless of how the project was created.
| Field | Description |
| Delete |
This checkbox can be used to mark a funding line item for deletion; multiple funding lines may be selected at the same time. When a row is deleted, a red line will be drawn through all text in the row to indicate a deletion and all funding greater than $0 is modified to $0. To reverse the deletion, the user can unselect the Delete checkbox. Once the desired funding lines have been selected, the user can select the Save Changes button. If the funding has been approved in the STIP, it would first need to go through the Amendment process. Once approved, the funding line will be permanently removed from the system. |
| Phase | This picklist contains all abbreviated values in the Phases code list. The available values are Design (DGN), Construction (CON) and Other (OTH). |
| Program | This picklist contains the available Programs related to the Responsible Agency defined in the General information section. |
| Funding | This field contains the funding abbreviation for all funds applicable to the selected Agency as defined in the Fiscal Constraint section of this document. |
| STIP Window Years |
These fields will contain the amounts programmed for the specified year. The year column will be labeled such that the first year will be the first year of the STIP window. The user is allowed to view previous and future years by selecting the arrows to the left and right of the first and last year. Only current and future years can be modified, previous years shown are for historical purposes only. |
| Total | This field will be view only and will be the sum of all programmed amounts for the funding line item, including any funding outside the window. |
The user can add a funding line by clicking the "Add New" link below the Funding Table. This selection will generate a new, blank line for the user to populate. The user may also select any funding row to edit its content.
Below the funding table, there are also two additional summary rows: Sub-Total and Total Net Changes. These are described in the table below.
| Field | Description |
| Sub-Total | This row is a sum of all amounts for each Year and Total column. |
| Total Net Changes | This row will report the difference between the pending Sub-Total amount and the previously approved Sub-Total amount (new Sub-Total - previous Sub-Total). |
A Fiscal Constraint table will also be available in the Funding Information section below the Funding Table. This table's information is geared toward the Program or Funding selected in the "Target" picklist at the top right of the interface. The Fiscal Constraint table will show the Program or Funding Target, Total Programmed, and Balance (Target – Programmed amounts) for each year in the STIP window. The titles for these summary lines will dynamically change based on the selection in the Target picklist. For example, if "Active Transportation Program" is selected in the Target picklist, the titles for the rows will be Active Transportation Program Target, Active Transportation Program Programmed, and Active Transportation Program Balance. If the user adjusts the STIP window to the right or left in the Funding table, the Fiscal Constraint table will also be updated to reflect the corresponding values.
Edits
Any edits made to a project must be processed through the "Rules Engine" to determine if it requires approval in the Amendments & Adjustments workflow. All changes will be presented in a pop-up window along with the type of change that was triggered to give the user an opportunity to confirm the actions before moving on.
In the pop-up, System Administrators will have the ability to modify the type of change that was triggered by selecting the Type picklist. For all other users, this field will be disabled. Double-clicking a row in the Pending Changes table will display the Rules table and highlight the specific rule that determined the Change Type. When Save Changes is selected, the window will automatically be closed, and the changes will be highlighted in pink on the Detail tab. When the Cancel button is selected, the pop-up will be closed, and the user has the option to revert the values to their previous values by selecting Discard Changes or modify the changes and save again.
